Great one day trip to see the fabulous Pamukkale and ancient city of Hierapolis. Received more than what was advertised for this trip. Our first stop was for breakfast, an all you can eat open buffet of the usual Turkish & continental foods with a choice of tea or coffee. The drive to Pamukalle was scenic as we made our way through the mountains, clouds and villages. It was interesting to learn about the ancient stones and to see them being shaped. I thoroughly enjoyed the sights of the Cotton Castle, Hierapolis museum, theatre and of course swimming in Cleopatra pool. We decided that we will go again…
If you want to see the real Turkey, start with Pamukkale. The most nice thing in this trip that you will see a thing that you will never see anywhere else in your life which is Pamukkale. We had three hours to ourselves to explore the calcium springs and the Cleopatra Antique pool. Which was lovely and is worth the visit. Everything was perfect and very reasonably priced. We had great guides, all pick-ups and transportation were on time, they recommended wonderful activities and sites. We would do it all again.
