This was a long trip but a good way to see a few Bursa sights in 1 day. Bursa is green and beautiful, a total contrast to Istanbul and we spend very good time in Bursa. Uludag, one of the highest mountains in Turkey around 2600m and has fantastic views. If you are going to participate in this tour, you should take a jacket with you to wear on the mountain. Pleasant introduction at a leisurely pace and enjoyed optional chairlift to summit of the mountain. The mosque was a welcome quiet from frentic pace of Istanbul. I enjoyed tasting jam too. Lunch was particularly very good and delicious.
We moved from Istanbul by bus and ferry to Bursa. We passed Bosphorus Bridge and arrived to Eskihisar port. The ferry taken us to other side just 45 minutes. Bursa is a beautiful city with history and Uludag Mountain. All day we have been to Uludag Mountain,old tree, Green Mosque, Green Tomb and cable car journey from Uludag to city. It was an exciting day to see first Ottoman Emperial capital city.The cable car offers magnificent views and fresh air. The way down we stopped by the small town and stopped by another beautiful mosque. It was a great experience that combines nature and culture. I recommend everyone to visit Bursa before leaving Turkey.
